Oryahovo, Bulgaria

Via Istrum Sauvignon Blanc is a fresh and modern expression of the variety, striking a balance between the zesty Loire style and the bold New Zealand profile. Grown on the steep slopes of the Danube in Burgozone’s own vineyards near Oryahovo, this elegant white wine offers aromas of green apple, citrus, tropical fruits, and a hint of grass and white flowers.

Vinified with minimal intervention and aged on lees for added texture, the wine is vibrant, complex, and harmonious. Its crisp acidity and layered flavors make it a perfect summer aperitif and an excellent match for seafood, poultry, goat cheese, and light vegetarian fare.

Crafted by the boutique family winery Chateau Burgozone – known for producing award-winning wines from sustainably farmed, hand-harvested grapes – this Sauvignon Blanc reflects the terroir of the Danube Plain with finesse and purity.
