Viognier 2023 Barrel Fermented from Bogdaya Vineyard Estate is currently our only barrel-aged white wine. Fermentation and maturation take place in two 225 L French barrels on the fourth fill for 7 months. The wood is gently integrated, and regular application of the “batonage” technique contributes to a round, juicy body while preserving the wine’s fresh character.

The wine displays typical Viognier aromas of white fruits such as peach, white cherry, and apricot, enriched by subtle notes of nuts and almonds. The delicate finish leaves a memorable impression of oil cakes with amaretto, creating a refined and harmonious tasting experience.

Our family vineyards in the fertile Struma River valley, located in Smochevo, benefit from hilly, sunlit terrain and the protective soils of the Rila mountains, making every bottle a true reflection of our dedication, love, and centuries-long tradition.
