Iris White is a refined and expressive white blend crafted by Château Burgozone from estate-grown grapes in the Danube Plain region, near Oryahovo, Bulgaria. This elegant cuvèe combines Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, and Viognier, each contributing their unique characteristics to a fresh and complex profile.
The grapes are manually harvested, carefully sorted, and grown at low yields (15-18 hl/ha) to ensure high quality. The wine is fermented in stainless steel tanks with temperature control, followed by sur lies aging for at least 5 months, adding depth and texture.
In the glass, Iris White displays a delicate gold color with a green glimmer. The aroma is subtle yet lively, offering a bouquet of white flowers, stone fruits, and tropical fruits, with a delicate hint of dried fruit.
On the palate, it reveals a harmonious balance between green and stone fruits, citrus, and floral notes, complemented by light nutty hints and a refreshing mineral finish.
Perfectly suited as an aperitif, Iris White also pairs beautifully with shrimps, lobster, oysters, and cheese, making it a versatile and stylish companion for fine dining.
