Via Istrum Chardonnay is one of the most awarded Bulgarian white wines, crafted by the boutique family winery Chateau Burgozone. Grown on the cool, river-influenced slopes of the Danube Plain near Oryahovo, this Chardonnay comes from hand-harvested, low-yielding vines. Fermented and aged on lees in stainless steel, it captures purity and freshness without oak influence.

Elegant aromas of green apple, citrus, and tropical fruit lead to a mineral-driven palate with complexity and a long, refined finish. A versatile and food-friendly wine, it pairs beautifully with appetizers, fish, poultry, vegetarian dishes, soft cheeses, and Mediterranean cuisine.

Made with minimal intervention and a focus on terroir expression, this Chardonnay reflects Chateau Burgozone’s philosophy of crafting fresh, fruity, and fine wines from sustainably farmed vineyards overlooking the Danube.
