Chateau Burgozone’s Esperanto brings together four noble varieties – Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Syrah, and the local Gamza – to showcase the diversity of the Danube Plain. Hand-harvested and sorted, the grapes are fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel before spending 6-8 months in a mix of French and Bulgarian oak barrels.
In the glass, Esperanto shines with a clear ruby color. The nose is intense and layered, revealing blackberries, cherries, tobacco leaf, white pepper spice, and dark chocolate. On the palate, it unfolds with a well-structured body, ripe black fruit flavors, herbaceous blackcurrant leaf, and a delicate vanilla finish.
Crafted with minimal intervention and sustainable practices, this blend captures the mineral-driven character of Burgozone’s rich soils and continental climate, making Esperanto an ideal companion for rich meats, game dishes, and mature cheeses.
