Crafted in the heart of Macedonia’s Povardarie region, Chateau Sopot lies between the Vardar River and Lake Mladost in the Veles Wine District. The vineyards benefit from the unique meeting of Mediterranean warmth and continental coolness. All grapes are handpicked from selected blocks, then fermented in stainless steel and aged in carefully selected French and American oak barrels. This artisanal approach ensures every bottle captures the full essence of its terroir.

The Djinot Vineyards Selection is a powerful expression of Vranec, Macedonia’s signature red grape. The wine shows a deep purple color and offers an abundant nose of black fruits and cassis, enriched by alluring notes of dark chocolate and tobacco leaf.

On the palate, expect a vibrant burst of blackcurrant and plummy black fruit jam, tamed by structured, powerful tannins that carry through to a long, satisfying finish.

Best served at 16-17°C, it pairs excellently with grilled Bieno cheese, baby back ribs, and pork cutlets with pancetta.
