An elegant wine made from the unique Bulgarian Mavrud grape variety, matured in small barrique barrels. It has a ruby-red color with brick-red hues. The aroma is complex and layered, with nuances of toast, smoke, dried leaves, spices, and resin. The palate is full-bodied and smooth, with a long finish marked by mature tannins and ripe fruit flavors.

An honorary award from the United Kingdom, presented as part of one of the competitions held alongside the LIWF (London International Wine Fair).

Silver Medal – Vinalies 2009, France

The winery received its first awards and recognition at the prestigious French Vinalies competition. In this edition, three Bulgarian wines were awarded medals, two of which were produced by Rumelia Winery.
