Ednā misket rakija is the result of hand-picked Misket Sungurlare grapes from old vines. Both wine and grape skins are used in order to get the most out of the taste and aroma qualities of this exceptional Bulgarian grape variety. To achieve maximum complexity and finesse, the rakija is aged for 6 months in an old small french oak barrel.

The misket rakija presents to the senses a long experience with marked spiciness, floral and flowery notes. The nose is dominated by rose oil, cardamom, quince, lavender, lilac, freshly cut grass. Additional complexity is given by notes of dried fruits – plum, apricot and medlar. All of them are wrapped in subtle nuances of vanilla, white chocolate, raisins and hazelnut acquired from aging in a french oak barrel. Ednā misket rakija is particularly suitable for heavier and more saturated salads, mature (aged) Parmesan and Pecorino type cheeses, as well as slightly to medium spicy food.
