Pinot Noir 2023 from Bogdaya Vineyard Estate is our first red wine from this delicate variety, crafted without barrel aging. Vinification takes place exclusively in stainless steel, using two separate vessels: one fermented with wild yeast from the grapes, and the other with cultivated yeast. The final wine is blended in the bottle, harmonizing the character of both vessels.

The wine exhibits complex aromas of ripe fruits, including cherry, blackcurrant, chokeberry, and plum, complemented by subtle hints of grape skin and gentle spice. The body is juicy, rich, and expressive, finishing with a long and fruity aftertaste.

Our family vineyards, located on the fertile soils of the Struma River in Smochevo, thrive on hilly terrain bathed in sunlight and nourished by the protective soils of the Rila mountains. Every bottle reflects the care, love, and centuries-long tradition of cultivating aromatic grapes in this unique terroir.

Perfectly suited for the table, Pinot Noir 2023 pairs beautifully with light red meats, poultry, and fine cheeses.
