EVA Cuvèe Rouge by Château Burgozone is a carefully crafted red blend showcasing the harmony of international and local varieties – Cabernet Franc, Syrah, Gamza, and Egiodola. Grown in the estate’s low-yield vineyards (15-18 hl/ha) along the Danube River in Oryahovo, Bulgaria, the grapes are manually harvested and meticulously sorted to ensure premium quality.
Fermented in stainless steel tanks with temperature control and aged for 12-15 months in French oak barrels, this wine develops both complexity and elegance. The ruby red color is vibrant and inviting.
Its aroma starts with notes of fresh red fruits, then unfolds into smoky dried fruit, vanilla, and a light oak character. On the palate, the fresh fruit flavors are enriched with subtle hints of caramelized dried fruit, vanilla, and a light mineral finish, offering balance and sophistication.
EVA Cuvèe Rouge is perfect for pairing with red meats, sausages, and ripe cheeses, and also offers excellent aging potential.
